This fall Midwest Whitetail Deer Sales will be having 3 great Whitetail Breeder Auctions.

The first will be on Aug. 19-21, 2010 in Tulsa Oklahoma. This event will be a joint venture between Missouri and Oklahoma state associations for the first time. The sale will consist of 200 lots of Premier Whitetail Genetics.

The next sale will be the PA Deer Farmers Annual Fall Whitetail Auction. If you have not attended this event in the past you are missing out on one of the premier events in the Industry. The sale is set for Sept 9-11, 2010 in Altoona, PA.

Rounding out the year we will be going back to Texas for the All American Invitational in San Marcos, TX on Sept 23-25, 2010. Last year this event was one of the biggest highlights of the fall season. Premium genetics all the way! North and South side by side.

Please check out our new website and send in your quality consignments before the deadline.

Goto: www.midwestwhitetaildeersales.com

You can find all of the consignment forms are there. Please download or print them and send your qaulity consignments in early. As promised this year Midwest Whitetail Deer Sales will be including in each sale, 10 lots in a special section in each catalog, for those new deer breeders. The spaces will be reserved for any deer breeder that has been in business less than 2 years or has not sold fdeer at one of our auctions before and wants to place consignments in these premier auctions. Your farm will be located in a prime location in each sale catalog. Right in the MIDDLE! If you are fortunate to get in as a new deer breeder you should have an audience looking at your genetics.

Sounds like a great idea eric. That way no new farmers, myself included can complain that they havent had a chance to participate in an auction.I am sure some of us will take advantage of the opportunity.hopefully we will have something up to your standards to get in as im sure you wont be able to accept lower class animals!!!

Way to go Eric! You guys were asked to help and you are now going to deliver!!! Great chance for the new farmers to shine.

Very happy, but certainly not surprised to see your follow through on this. You guys have always been nothing but great to deal with.

Hope all is well.

I plan to be at all three Auctions and look forward to them. One thing you will learn about Eric and Jerry is when they tell you they are going to do something they will do it. Can't wait for Auction season.

Thanks for the support guys. I am also still going to start the pass a DOE along program where I will donate a bred doe to a winning new deer farmer at the PA Sale. Midwest Whitetail Deer Sales will donate a bred doe to a winning new deer farmer (Which Micheal Peters and Virgil or ddwhitetails, I am not sure which are supposed to be laying the ground rules for) and then each year the winning new deer farmer will fawn it out and the next year he will have to be willing to breed her back with a donated straw of semen of course, then give her to the winning new deer farmer the next year. If something happens to her (the original doe), then the last doe fawn born of breeding age will take her place in the rotation. In a few years these new deer farmers should have as strong of a doe and some fawns as the industry could ask for. Let's see how it works out. One small problem, Missouri has found CWD so I will not be able to donate one off of my farm but I am sure I will come up with one, and I bet it will be a good one.

Are you saying you can't move deer from your farm?

Not at all. What I am saying is that not all states will accept deer from a CWD positive state or a state that has been CWD positive in the past. So to make this fair to everyone I feel that we need the animal to come from a state that has not had a case of CWD so the deer is capable of moving to any state with no sanctions!

I see!

Thanks for your generosity toward new deerfarmers. It is greatly appreciated! Also any lots I have purchased through Midwest Deer sales all have been smooth transactions. Thank you for that!

I plan on heading to the Tulsa Auction. We are just across the KS line and just starting out in the industry. We have managed to get a few fawns on the ground but kinda having a trial by fire, lost one last night. Anxious to learn and meet people in the business. See ya there!!

Look forward to seeing and meeting you all there. The sales are filling up fast with some great consignments. I think this could be the best year yet for our industry. The economy is coming back and we have weathered the storm. Look for deer prices to be on the rise again.

Eric
