not wanting to start an argument, just looking for information. as a new deer breeder in kansas i am TB and Bangs certified, cwd monitered. as such i can import and export from my state. it is my understanding that texas is a closed state. at least most producer can not export. if this is accurate, why is the top 30 sale held there? would someone explain how and why the state of texas program works?

There are a few select TX breeders that can ship out of state YES.

Why is the top30 held here? Good question, but the TX top30 is not the only "Top 30" sale. I imagine Kevin has a top 30 sale here in TX, for the same basic reason most folks do just about anything...MONEY!

Does the phrase "Deer Mafia" sound familiar?
