Your exactly right Gary, farmed deer keep getting better and the wild ones are disappearing from too many antlerless tags and coyotes, wolves and mountain lions*eating all the fawns that are born. Almost every states deer populations are going backwards and they can't figure out why, they just try and blame us and everything else they can. They hate any type of commercial hunting unless it's them taking in money for the deer we landowners feed. Here in South Dakota they even have Custer State park, all high fenced. As many as 16,000 applicants for a handful of bull elk tags. Most people would love to hunt a quality fenced farm if it was free other then the license cost.

Is that the State park that took the fence down and moved out 600 or more head and just drove them outside of the park because the park couldn't hold that many elk even though the elk had a 40% CWD problem?* The fact that the officials could release that many elk knowing that 40% could be infected with CWD just proves they really don't consider CWD a real issue.* It proves by the fact these elk could reproduce to that amount even with CWD that it will not wipe out the animals.**If they had to reduce the number in the park then CWd isn't the killer they put out to the public when they talk about it in game farms.* Can you say two faced jerks.

Jack, They let down the fence at wind cave National park which borders Custer state park, Wind Cave doesn't allow hunting, Custer state park does(well it barely does, they only issue one bull tag now because the mountain lions are now eating them in the park as fast as the cows*are calving). Most of these elk crash the fence in the winter and leave Wind cave*and go onto bordering private land*to feed and cause damage. The landowners want them gone because*they aren't*able to get any landowner tags to be able to sell some hunts to make up for the damage.*They*chased them by helicopter into the rest of the Black hills and Custer state park because the whiner wildlife federation people were crying that all "their" elk were on private land and in*Wind cave. *Just think what would happen if I took an airplane and started chasing deer onto my land for my clients!!! I sure can say 2 faced jerks. **

And all this was funded by the RMEF. *And they condemn us for shooting pen raised animals. *They are hypocrites.

Yah, Brilliant idea, cut the fence and chase out the highest population of CWD infected animals in the country out onto the landscape. They must really have some under qualified "biologists" working in that camp. It's a good ole boys club, have a buncha volunteers who actually believe they are really doing something put together a banquet and raise money to pay all the non profit's "over educated under experienced employees",. These groups are all alike, use a warm fuzzy name like the Wildlife Federation,*Quality deer management Assoc., Rocky Mt. elk foundation, Ducks Unlimited, etc.*and suck money off people who don't know any better about what really happens to the $$ they contribute.*

Another 100*dollars down the drain with CWD testing on a buck that got stabbed in the belly today.* What a lot of crap.* Known reasons for death verified by Vets should be excluded from testing.* Anyone who has been in this program five or more years needs to have some relief from this stupid shit.
