Cervid: whitetails

Every deerfarmer in Missouri should be walking the streets in that county asking people to vote against him.* If you can help swing the election, they will take notice.* Do it in an organized way so that it is known that you are their to fight.* If this is a rural area target land owners.* Make it a government overreach issue.* People are tired of this government bs.

When Montana game farms were going to the senate and house some of these representatives had the guts to tell me I would vote for your cause but I owe so and so a vote so will not be able to help you.* It was a real eye opener for me on how things work*with our representatives.* Deals and back stabbing runs*wild*cause when they get in government it's all about the money and power and they forget they work and represent the people.* I now feel government sucks as does the DNR.

I've learned more about that vote. It took a mere seconds to go from pass to fail because of the Jefferson County Rep Roorda. He had his YES vote light on the entire time of the voting session even though he voted no in MAY on the bill. So when all the Reps thought they had enough votes, which was to small of margin, the ones that did not want to go against the gov did not vote. One Rep, Zerr of St Charles County changed from yes to no at last minute because it would of made 110. They needed 109. As vote was closing in the last second Roorda flipped it to no and LAUGHED while he did it. So he was a major player but also the reps who did not want to vote thinking it had the votes to pass. My own rep changed her Yes May vote to No, using bogus constitutional ramblings.

They don't mention ElK in our State is considered livestock and is a cervid like deer...why the difference??? This is what the use the MO constitution basis for it to remain in the Conservation Dept...even though our AG dept does all the testing, herd inventory etc.

Deer in our State were repopulated by the AG dept in the early 1900's through captive deer raise and release.

It was crazy and very frustrating!!
