This is the latest from the response of Zanesville exotics a few months back. I thought I would throw it up for you to be informed.

Did any of you read the article in Animal Finders Guide, by Pat Hoctor? He said, after talking with the police, that all of the animal enclosure fences were cut open to allow the animals to escape.

Why would an owner with keys to locks on the gate cut his own fences open? Why not just unlock and open a gate??

And the gun used to kill the Zanesville man came back registered to the deputy Sherrif.

Cervid: Whitetail Deer
Not sure on all this but we just got back from getting a great Lonewood/drifter/sundance

doe bred to maxbo arty from Dakota whitetails in ohio. We had a heck of a time getting the permit in line. NY is one of the hardest states to get deer into from any state but this one with ohio was crazy hard. Well they say the problem is all the stuff that went on with the animals getting loose in ohio. Now im not one to say much on what others do on their own property and i believe it is a persons right to do as they want as long as its legal. Well on the road about a half mile from the farm a guy has 2 huge full blooded WOLVES... They were in a very small area and from my opinion not in a very secure pen. Im not sure why anyone would want to raise wolves but i will tell you that these things are huge and 2 big bada$$ looking dude's. If those things were to get loose on the mountain top they and the farm are on they are forever wild. Unless ofcourse they are not afraid of people... Then what????

Mitch this was about a mile off interstate 70. Heading up the hill to jims farm. Man they were huge. I love to hunt just about anything and sit out calling yotes at 2am many times. Im not sure i would like to have a chance of runnin into them in the dark..If they got brought back into any state the whitetail population is going to take a beating!!!
