Question Who goes to nature with an overnight stay?

Hello everyone, after listening to stories from parents about how they used to go hiking, we decided with friends that we also want to try this type of vacation. But no one has any experience of recreation in the wild. On the forum, I did not find any topics in which they would tell me what you need to have with you when traveling to nature. We would like to go to the river for the weekend before the end of summer, tell me who uses what equipment and what is better for beginners to take with them? Thank you all for your answers!

Hi, Pasu. I would first advise you to find a good camping site, where all the necessary things will be nearby, just in case you forget something and just in it you will understand exactly what you need. But I always take a good supply of water, freeze-dried food, so as not to bother with cooking. If you want to cook something on the fire, take everything you need for this, you can not hope for luck. As a shelter I have beach canopy, lightweight, does not take up much space and it is not hot in summer. If you will take vegetables or other products with you, then do not forget to take a knife, plates, preferably metal ones, and take care of your gadgets. Either take the power banks with you, or turn them on for calls! It is best to Pass you will find out what you need to take with you, and what you do not need to take after your 1 hike!
