Cervid: Deer and Elk
Question good deer nutrition and feeding programs?

What are some important things when it comes to good deer nutrition? Educate me on a good feeding program?

I understand having good pasture is important, and that works great for the warmer time of year, but what about the colder months? What kind of dry matter is recommended over the winter?

Thanks in advance.

Good alfalfa hay goes a long ways in winter, deer pellets and a bit of corn/oats keep mine happy. clean water is a must too
Thanks from Lash
