HONEY for Fawns

OK, another question about feeding my fawns? I have two bottle babies and we are trying to wean them. One of them is eating good, and the other one does not want eat her feed. I decided to spice up her feed with some of my local honey. Now she is cleaning her food tray. Just wondering if this is a mistake or not.

I don't think I would feed mine honey, get some feed with molasses and mix with your feed

Thank you weber for your response. I have been trying the feed with molasses but she does not care for that. She does not like the calf manna either.

I have fed honey with no problem to add energy. My opinion is both honey or molasses will add energy. As long as she eats it I would keep on doing it till she responds and is healthier. I would not feed it forever.
