I am rescuing my first fawn, this is a great site for information, thanks!

I have had a bowl of water available to 'Buck Rogers' since we found him 4 weeks ago.

I have NEVER seen him drink any of it. *He takes 4 bottles a day (1qt) of milk like a champ.

He is growing and gaining, eating foliage and dirt. *I can't figure out why he doesn't drink the water??? *He's only 12lbs. at 4 weeks. *Seems tiny to me. *Any input is appreciated! *

I wouldn't spend any time worrying about it. It will start soon enough and is getting all it needs from the bottle right now.
