Question Brain/Cranial Abscess Syndrome (BAS)?

I have a yearling button Buck who I fear may have Brain Abscess Syndrome, a.k.a., Cranial Abscessation Syndrome. He presented with yellow discharge coming from both eyes. Eyes treated with Terramycin ointment. No temperature. Iím afraid he may have had (natural occurring) bacteria enter his horns as they grew and broke through the skin, or during fighting or rubbing trees.. Has anyone ever dealt with treating a deer with BAS? It is 100% fatality if not treated. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Daphne- Did your button buck survive? I may be dealing with the same issue, however this buck is four years old. I am able to work with him since he was bottle fed and hand raised. Hoping that there is something I can do to help him. If anyone knows anything about this disease (other than he may not survive it).. please let me know. Thank you.
