Deer Mob


The deer mob would spawn in forest-type biomes (forest, roofed forest, taiga, etc.). It would have a few variation/color schemes for its model (like the horse mob), which is shaped to more resemble a buck than a doe (antlers and such). It would have 12 health points (6 hearts). The mob is neutral, and will only attack you if you attack it, attempting to spear you with its antlers for 4 health points (2 hearts) in easy mode, 5 health points (2 1/2 hearts) in normal mode, and 6 health points (3 hearts) in hard mode. Deer would drops sticks (antlers; there's no point in adding a new item), leather, and a new item-venison, which would refill 2 hunger (uncooked) and 6 hunger (cooked), making it about the same as raw/cooked chicken, without the food poisoning effect. Two deer can breed via saplings, and produce a baby deer.
