Question Do they eat ginger?

Hello everyone,

I'm new here. Do deer, fawn specifically eat ginger? A fawn accidentally got access to some ginger and seemed to enjoy it a lot, but I was unsure so I took it away when I noticed. Have googled but can't seem to find a clear answer regarding the ginger itself.

Thanks in advance.

Ginger has amazing antiviral/antibacterial properties as well as many other health benefits! It is not on the list of toxic plants to animals but in large amounts may be hard on the gastrointestinal tract. I've found that animals tend to try what they sense will be good for them and know when to stop though, so I wouldn't worry about it.
