Jason, That's been my exact experience also, if they live more then a day or even two they usually survive, amost everyone that dies from it does it within 2-10 hours of even looking kinda off. Anyone who has ever been around it much when the bug and disease are in an active cycle knows its not gonna wait for lab results and fed-ex. If the vaccine really works that sounds like the most cost effective insurance policy with better coverage. I have a couple deer that the $500 "cure" may be worth having around IF it works but no way would I even think about it if I had to wait for a lab result and shipping. Thanks Wayne for Larry's info, that stuff sounds like its worth trying.

We have been very fortunate. The last time our area was struck with the black plague ( EHD) we didn't loose a single animal. My direct neighbor lost over 70 deer. I contribute this three things. First the good lord. Second we were vaccinating with the EHD vaccine and third as Dr. Joe recommended we hammered them with probiotics. In my opinion without an antivirus you are really rolling the dice. The thought is to keep them as healthy as possible. It will help them have a chance to survive.

I don't think anyone is saying it's a "cure". It seems to boosts the health of the deer so they may show some symptoms, but have a higher probability of surviving. Larry can give you more information this.

Wow.. Sorry for being absent so long. It's good to hear the message about the EHD treatment is out and that people are actually taking the time to go to meetings to hear exactly what is going on!! There is a treatment and it has proven 87% successful. It is the first treatment that targets the virus by neutralizing it and preventing the virus from shedding viral particles, which causes the secondary signs such as pneumonia and gi ulceration which kills the deer. Guys, watch your deer very closely, at first signs, we must maintain vascular integrity with dexamethasone but not in pregnant deer. If you do not have treatment, hit with 5 cc dex(2mg/ml) per 100 lbs I'm immediately. Then excede at 3 cc per 100 lbs SQ. This does not stop the virus though, just slows body's reaction to the virus. Te treatment "Enable" can be shipped overnight to your veterinarian and stored at their office The treatment covers type 1&2 currently. As for price, well, it is very high tech and it works, you don't have to use it but ask those that have. Type 6 is exotic and we see at approx 1% last year. Contact your vet then have them contact me. Drjoeables@yahoo.com. If you don't trust me try your own treatment. Remember, the most important thing is very early recognition and if in doubt, excede and dex( non pregnant animal) will not hurt them if they do not have EHD. If you watch your deer close enough and regularly, you will be tremendously successful starting with dex and excede then "Enable" as quick as your can to stop the virus. This treatment does not kill the virus, just stops it from producing viral particles and gives the deer the chance over a 3 week period to build a very strong immune response. Deer treated last year have SN antibodies over 1280 meaning their immune response to EHD will be very strong for the next few years without vaccinations. If you knew you would get the flu virus next month, what would you do personally to prevent that chance??? Try a lot of vitamins, great nutrition, probiotics and decrease stress. Have a plan before the disease plans you. Be wise guys and God bless and good luck!!! drjoeables@yahoo.com

I have been feeding larry's product for about a month now. My deer look awesome and i also have some unreal early growth on all of my bucks. I do not believe larrys product would be a cure for anything like ehd but if his product can keep a deer healthy i am sure it would help keep them stronger while they fight off the ehd with other meds that will take care of ehd. I am sure a shock effect product would also be helpful in keeping them as strong and healthy as they can be to fight off such a strong bug!!

Mike I want to give ever body a head up on our Shock Effect Enchancer. The spoon that we have in the Enhancer is a ten grams spoon, but it only hold 5 grams of our product. We are getting all kinds of good reports that was on half the dose.So the last three days I call ever body and told them or left a message about using two spoons. Well there is alot of guys that are using two and three spoons on there bucks already. They can"t beleave the results. All I can tell you keep your eyes on the bucks that is on our Enhancer this year.By the way a buddy of mine left a bucket of Enhancer in the pin with his breeder buck. The buck ate at least 8 # of our Enhancer his antlers turn a bright red . He took him off a week his antlers went back black.,it made him a beleiver.Mike I have the biggest bucks I ever had so far then I ever had raising deer for eighting years. All I done to change what I have done is add three spoon of our Enhancer from one spoon.I will put a up date May first on my bucks .Mike I am pump up this year, I just talk to Keith Warren he told me his bucks are kicking but.

Steve you know i love big racks just like anyone else and i cant wait to grow a big great looking buck on my farm. I think the health of these deer we raise must come first and their racks will grow. If your product along with larrys product or anyone else's will heip keep these guys in great health and also helps them push more blood then im all for it. I have my bottle of your product ready for my fawns this year. This ehd stuff sounds nasty and i hope it never makes it this far north. If these products help then we all need to use it!

The bucks put up on here so far are off to an awesome start and they look great. I believe all the bucks shown so far are farms that use your product so that shows something right there. I will be talking to matt down at the pa fundraiser in a couple weeks, There might be a bucket comin back to ny!!!

You guys are getting it great!!! Push for the health of these guys to strengthen the immune system and overall health and you will allow them to reach 100% health which will allow them to attain 100% of their genetic potential!!! I have personally, as well as many of our clients, use products such as Fertile-Aid and Shock Effect. These products are tried and proven vitamins, minerals and probiotics.. Of course folks will encounter other products that will work as well, these are just what we have used and experienced personally over the past 3 years. Choosing Vitamins, minerals and probiotics are similar to buying tennis shoes. Find the comfortable ones, the ones easy to work with, and the ones that you personally feel comfortable with I like Asics, but the next guy may like nike... but they both get the job done Good luck and God bless!!!

Has anyone drawn blood on a deer that was recently deceased and went it in for analysis? or does the blood have to be drawn on a live animal
