Fawn has swollen tongue - no other symptoms

Hello, we have a 9 day old fawn who started bottle feeding on red cap when he was 4 days old. He is eating well and urinating and defecating. Yesterday morning after 5 days on red cap, his tongue swelled. He is drooling, but not foaming. He is not mouth breathing, his tongue just sticks out of his mouth a bit because it is enlarged. There is no discoloration to his tongue and there are no known diseases in the herd he was born into.

Has anyone heard of this?

Thanks all!
