We use Victor fly traps. If you have seen our TV show you has seen them. They are available through Jeffers supply and they really make a difference.

We've found that garlic in the feed makes a world of difference. We also use fly traps around the pens as well. We use about 7lbs of garlic per Ton of feed.

Garlic is the way to go! I use the garlic powder from the grocery store. I add 2 tablespoons per 50 lb bag. It usually takes about a week to see the results but it works. Horse flies will lite but not bite.

We also have garlic added to our feed but use the fly traps as well. It doesn't get rid of flies, just keeps them from biting. You can use both and when you see how many flies are in those traps in will warm your heart!!
