I think its awful that BC is even giving thought to poisoning deer.....just awful. Good luck with the baby, they are waaaayyyyyy cute!! Keep us posted on her recovery. Also, I think what you are doing is wonderful - it's nice to hear stories of people helping those adorable creatures. Thanks

she's gotten alot worse over the night, this morning she was dehydrated, she wont even use her tongue, but she still swallows. we are still feeding her regularly but she's totally limp and lifeless.

hoping for a little good luck!

You need to make sure she is warm and you need to get fluids into her......the only way is tube feeding and or injections........I doubt you have the stuff to do this........she sounds as though she is on her last leg unfortunately.........I hope i am wrong....

Wow... I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can reverse those issues before it kills her.

Here's that feeding chart if you're successful...because of how weak and dehydrated she is, you may even want to add in a middle of the night feeding so there's no gap in between feedings.

Sick Fawn

Greetings from Texas,

We are not farmers However, we have a baby fawn that's mother died. The fawn is eating from a bottle, but is unable to stand or lift his neck. When he wakes up he will spin in circles and sqeeks. I called Wildlife and they told me to put him outside under a tree where other deer roam and another doe will adopt him or he will die. I can't just lay him out and let him die. What should we do?
