Im in Missouri was planning on doing TB and Brucc testing for the first time in a couple weeks. How long does it usually take you guys to get your test results back after you send it off.

It seemed like it was 2-3 weeks for us. That was 2 years ago so it is a little foggy. Good luck.

Cervid: Whitetail Deer

Got an email awhile back that they are 8 weeks out on product to do the testing. You may want to talk to your vet before you set a date!

If your doing the blood test check with the lab to see if they have the kits to test. My samples arrived at NVLS yesterday and the have enough kits to test about 600 more samples. They could run out any day. *Then it will be several weeks before they have any kits to test with. I was worried that I was going to have to rework my entire herd.

This update provided by USDA/APHIS**

(0,0,144); ;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;text-align:left;background-(255,255,255)The National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) will deplete its supply of ChemBio DPP test kits by the end of October 2014.* The manufacturer is currently unable to supply additional DPP test kits.* This test kit shortage will cause an interruption in DPP testing at NVSL for at least 8 weeks, but possibly longer.

(0,0,144); ;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;text-align:left;background-(255,255,255)****** If testing is needed for immediate movement, then official SCT skin testing may be conducted.

(0,0,144); ;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;text-align:left;background-(255,255,255)****** Serum samples can still be submitted to NVSL during this time, but they will be frozen and tested when the kits are available.

(0,0,144); ;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;text-align:left;background-(255,255,255)****** Veterinarians should indicate on the APHIS 10-4 submission form that the testing is for movement, and those frozen samples will be prioritized when DPP testing resumes.*

(0,0,144); ;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;text-align:left;background-(255,255,255)****** If testing is needed for herd reaccreditation, timing of the tests will be based on the date the samples are received at NVSL, not the date the test is performed.*

(0,0,144); ;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;text-align:left;background-(255,255,255)We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
