axis deer

I have a question i cant seem to get a solid answer on.I own 2000 acres in northern Michigan and would like to add axis deer to the property.I heavily supplement feeding to my whitetail and fallow herds during the winter and have had great success with it.My question is with heavy feeding can axis survive our cold winters? and i am also concerned about them fawning in winter since they will breed year round.

I’ve heard Axis won’t make it up North. I’d be interested in them if they could! Do you have fallow for sale?

The furthest North I have heard of them is in Ohio. I don't know how long they lasted etc. though.
