Try calling your Department of Ag over there in NY and ask them. They will know plus they could answer any other questions you may have.

Mtman. I am not aware of any minimum acres. I do know for a bird hunting license they want 100 acres. I would recommend the more acres the better but that's just my opinion. If I were to start a hunting ranch I personally would like at least 250+. But again that's me every person has different ideas.
