New Auction Site for Deer Farmers

I have created a new (well brought back and old one) site for everyone to use to sell their deer and deer related products.

The site is Deer Auction

Here are the rules:

DeerAuction.com Rules:

1. All Auctions will end on Wednesday nights between 8 and 11 p.m. central time. All auctions are a minimum of $100 starting bid. There is no maximum.
2. Sellers must be approved by Deer Auction. To get approved register and then send us an email to sam@timberhollowwhitetails.net and ask to be a seller.
3. Store "Buy it Now" items may start and end at anytime, however auction items will end every Wednesday Night from 8:00 to 11:00 P.M (Central Time). Auction items can be started at any time. If the seller does not place the auction end time in the proper time slot then that item's ending time will be moved to the next Wednesday!
4. All completed transactions are between seller and buyer. It is the sellers responsibility to collect from the buyers and arrange transfer or delivery.
5. There are NO commissions at Deer Auction. All listings are also free for at least the rest of 2016! Enjoy the site!.
6. As a promotion, the first 100 to register and purchase any straw of semen will get a second straw at no charge. Whatever buck you buy, get a second straw free. That offer is good for the first 100 to buy a straw or the end of the year. ENJOY and GOOD LUCK!!!

I LAP AI'd my deer last year and it was 55 degrees and rain. But mother Nature had it in for me here in Montana. That night it went to zero and I lost four does from Hypothermia. It must have had a very negative effect on the semen in all the rest of those does as only one doe had a fawn this spring. Truly not the fault of the semen from the people I bought it from.
I just wanted you all to know the integrity of Sam. I have nothing but respect for dealings I have had with this man. I told Sam about the problem Mother Nature gave me and he replaced all the semen I used last year even though it wasn't his fault. I really wanted the semen from Payday to make me a fawn. Thanks so much Sam.

I'm still getting all the bugs out of the software. I apologize for a couple errors this week. I have all auctions set to go off on Wednesday Night Jan 25th. However when someone bid it changed it to a 24 hr auction. Its wasn't supposed to do that. I thought I was going crazy but found a setting for that. We should be good now.

Don't forget there are some great surprise auctions going up in the next few weeks. I appreciate all who have registered. It will be fun! - Sam

To all Bidders/Sellers on the auction:

THE SOFTWARE ON DEERAUCTION.COM USES "PROXY BIDDING"

By default you are bidding a proxy bid which means the software bids the minimum required for you to be the top bidder. For example. If the highest bid is 120, and you bid 200, the software will bid 130 and automatically up your bid if needed until 200 is reached. So you can bid your max at any time but the sotware will still try to buy what you are bidding on at the lowest price.

Likewise if you are bidding and see the software immediately say you have been "outbid" that means the top bid on the item you are bidding on has a higher "Proxy" bid and the software is placing that bid automatically for that bidder. For example the high bid on an item may look like 150, however the top bidder may have bid 200. So when you enter a bid of 160, the software automatically raises the bid by the other member to 170. If you see that happening when you bid its because someone has entered a higher proxy bid. Don't get discouraged that will stop if you reach the maximum bid placed by the other bidder.

Good Luck and ask any questions you like!
