I've been shooting deer for over thirty years now and always send some of my meat off every year to be made into breakfast sausage. Heck I butcher it, cut it up into steaks, and grind it so I got to thinking I would like to try making up some of my own sausage. Do any of you have a really good sausage recipe you would be willing to share. I'm not looking to make summer sausage with the smoking and all(at least not yet)but just something I could patty out and cook up with eggs and hash browns in the morning. Rick

  Hudsonville, Michigan - I have used their mixes for jerky, smoked sausages and fresh sausages. All very good. I would mix 2 parts venison to 1 part pork butt for breakfast sausage.

send me your email I will mail you the only Polish sausage recipe I use I have tried others but for the last 6 yrs this is the only one I use my friends and family loves them.

and if you do not wish to make polish I use it for patties

I have a friend in who always uses fresh, clean deer meat ingredients. She has recipes in her booklet and she is willing to share this with you. Please let me know.
