Barbecued Burgers Recipe

  • 1 pound elk burger
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp. oil

Brown meat and onion in oil.

In a separate bowl, combine:

  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 cup chunk tomato or tomato juice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • Salt, pepper and prepared mustard to taste
  • 2 tbsp. minute tapioca

Add meat and simmer for 2 hours.
