Barbecued Meatballs Recipe

Mix:

  • 1 pound elk burger
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¾ cup rolled oats, uncooked
  • ½ cup minced onion

For sauce, mix:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 4 tbsp. brown sugar

Form into one-inch balls.

Place in 9 x 13-inch pan.

Mix sauce ingredients and pour over raw meatballs.

Do not cover; bake at 350 degrees for one hour, turning over once or twice.
