Venison Meatloaf Recipe #2

  • 3 slices dry bread
  • 4 oz. canned milk
  • 2 teaspoons Lawreys seasoning salt
  • few shakes of pepper
  • 1 small minced onion
  • 1-2 lbs ground venison
  • 3 slices bacon
  • catsup

Crumble bread and let soak in milk for 10 minutes.

Add spices and onion, mix in meat, top with bacon and dot with a bit of catsup.

Bake covered for 45 minutes, then uncovered 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

This is very moist meatloaf that is great next day for sandwiches — that is, if there is any left!
