Venison Roast Recipe

  • 4 lbs. deer roast
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 pkg. dried onion soup

Marinate meat in wine for at least four hours or overnight.

Put meat in roasting bag or foil so it cannot leak.

Pour wine over meat and add onion soup on top with just a bit more salt.

Cook at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 2½ hours or until tender.
