Sonny you are turning it into a thread about this. Four Seasons gave you input addressing your exact question. You didn't like the answer and talked about how you owe it to try. I gave my thoughts also basically by agreeing with Four. If you wanting people to blow smoke up your dress then you should have said so. However we assumed you wanted truth. If you want to spend money collecting semen and such go ahead. In fact, yes he looks so great you should not only collect him. You should *** the semen also. Last I heard that was only $7k per buck to do. And you never know, he might give you a good collection. If you can get about 20 male straws you can sell them for about $350 each and break even. What you can also do is run a contest and pay out $50k to whoever grows the biggest yearling from a straw they bought from you.
Ok yes, now I am being a ****. But these are the silly games that are played in the breeder world. And Four Seasons and myself tried to help you see it isnt worth it.
But what do we know. I have only been in deer about 25 years now. Four, how about you?

I was just trying to give an honest answer really. As far as time its been 19 so far for me. These bucks although nice names and such just will not have what it takes to make the cut i the breeding world. I will look forward to what they turn out to be, I asked about the width thing because i dont see anything near 26 inches but pic's sure can be tough at times. If he is that wide then i cant wait to see my own finish out. The average deer is more like 14-16 inches tip to tip although some huge 300lbs brutes out of Canada have pushed 18 inches. We all will learn one way or the other, some of us that have been around for awhile have seen the best in deer farming pass on by and try to help someone new to maybe save a few grand and not be dumping semen down the ******* at a later date.

After every thing said, he's still a very nice deer
I take an interest because I got two buck fawns from Sundragon this spring
Thanks for the update

After all thats said and the industrys status right now. Lets go back to the very begining.. Imagine seeing that guy in the woods opening morning. Thats why i raise deer. Because i enjoy them buetiful buck.

Since obviously there are experts in the forum that believe a deer can poop in his own mouth I'm guessing they are correct as well saying this 2 year old will never reach 30 inches. Pics were taken June 29th. For those of us idiots on here he's looking like he will be a typical - no junk on his bases. Looking good to this *****.

I always say I have to look at my deer 365 days of the year and if I'm happy with them so be it.
But the truth is everyone has nice deer at this point in the industry and none of us are going to get rich on them now. I'm happy if they can pay their feed and tax bill when it comes to whitetail. So do what makes you happy cause your the only one who can make yourself happy. Go for it my fellow deer farmer.

Wow you really are a ******* aren't you. What a pathetic soul. All you wanted was for everyone to just tell you how great your idea was.

True Colors. Maybe I should write to others and tell them I should just bid to make them bid more. That way I can feel important too. Shows what a true friend you are to them. Some people I guess are just too jealous. You're right I came on here asked for help and found a big ahole from Wisconsin. In the end I guess that helped me out too. I know where not to go for advice. Feel free to not interject any more of your opinions on this thread. If you don't care to see updated pics then stop looking. I don't need any more of your opinions - thank you. For those that do want to see them I will continue to update. For those in Wisconsin go tell someone who cares.

I have no clue what your write to tell people to bid comment is supposed to mean. I know I never had to ask others to do that. Unfortunately for you this is a public forum and can't pick and choose who posts what. So take your true colors and bite me. That said your a waste of my time. Good luck with your "first generation sons" LMAO!

Yet you continue to make yourself look like the true ahole you are. I guess people are supposed to bow down to your sheer existence. You are the one that decided to create a hostile conversation. How about you take all your years of experience and grow up. Happy Independence Day everyone else. To those that served our country I salute you.

Has to reach 26 before he makes 30? Nice buck really. What are ya thinking he scores in this pic?

Awesome looking yearling jgreg. All the younger Sun Dragon all seem to get that split brow tine. As far as how wide our two year old is I will let you guys all guess. We believe he will break 30 inches wide. But I've been told I'm an ***** ******* so I'm done saying. He came from a location that starts about a week later than ours. So we are excited to see him finish. Here's hoping someone grows another Sun Dragon.

Thanks guys. His mother is proven to throw nice bucks. Will be using him for some breeding this fall.
