Where to buy does and bucks in Alabama?

I have looked at some breeders in Alabama and they all sell the non typical. I'm looking for typical deer , we're just getting started some I can't afford 10k deer just yet. If anybody will have decent deer not monsters or a huge pedigree, this summer I'd be interested in some. I'm not a commercial operation as of now just wanting to create a nice place for family to come. Thanks
 
Check with Ol Roy Whitetails there in Alabama Jr & Joyce Roy ......they are some GREAT folks and if you ever get to Missouri stop in anytime !
 
Thanks, for all the replies. My goals at this point are to produce some nice shooters every year for my family to enjoy and sell some hunts as well.
 
I live here in Alabama, I will start by saying that as you probably well know we have closed borders and you can only purchase deer from a licensed Alabama game breeder. I have been a game breeder for over 12 years. I have a great line of foundation does that produce nice typical deer. These does are EHD proven & hearty. Nothing is bullet proof but they are as close as they come to it. They came through the summer and NEVER flinched when EHD hit. Everybody on this forum will tell you that is worth it's weight in gold.

I think everybody on the forum will also tell you I have some of the largest deer in the industry to go along with the typical bloodlines I have. I also guarantee & stand behind my deer and I have customers you can feel free to call. I raise my deer as a hobby, they are not my livelihood which allows me to offer a really nice quality deer at an affordable price. I only sell a few deer a year and bottle fed does are available from time to time. Feel free to call or email if you have any questions.

I believe this statement is about as true as it can get!!! I know where i would be if i were in that closed border state lookin for a bred doe or two! Wayne gets it done year after year with big awesome looking bucks!
 
Contact Alabama DNR and get a gamebreeders list. It will have all licensed breeders in the state, from there setup visits to the ones nearest you. If your just getting into the business, you will need friends/friendly advice and the ones closest to your location will be handy to be friends with down the road. There are plenty of us out there and I raise Southern typicals with extras, that are not vaccinated for ehd or under a mister/fogger. Good luck.
 
Best advice is to visit farms and buy from people you trust that have good deer.. Alabama is full of good people.so find one you can trust that Will give you a fair price so you can make money..
 
Good advice Richard I've been in business in Alabama now going on 4 yrs I have meet a lot of good people. I can attest that Wayne Green (X-Factor Whitetails) is a top notch class act and you will have no trouble or problem in your dealings with him. He is a great guy and has some huge deer!

If you love Clean typical bucks like I do I may be able to help you find some affordable genetics to boost your herd.. I try to breed for the widest and cleanest typical look I can get. I will attach some pictures of 2 yr olds we sold this past fall. I’m excited to see tho years crop grow out.. I will have Mature Bucks, Does and fawns for sale this year. We will also have 8 yearlings that should be real nice. All my deer are DNA’d with pedigree paperwork. If you are interested or just want to come out for a visit contact me at 256-425-8278
