Four Springs Ranch and Red Ridge Whitetails proudly introduce their partnership on one of the country’s top two year olds… Fear Factor (Formally Shamrock).

Fear Factor is a two year old direct son of Rolex and his mother is FSR Patricia. Patricia is a direct daughter of Silverhawk out of Yellow #33, Yellow #33 is a Thunder daughter out of JB’s womb mate, JP 112. Patricia is also the womb sister to Blackhawk. He is pure Patrick on the bottom!

On July 26th Josh and I knocked him down due to an antler injury, we unofficially scored him at 290â€ with a 30 ½ outside spread, 50-52 points and over to 60â€ of mass.

Earl Souva collected Fear Factor this past January and the semen quality is some of the best around. Straws should be able to split multiple times. Semen is priced reasonably and is in the tank!

Check out his pictures and video on Da Buck Channel http://www.dabuckchannel.com/video/229/Fear-Factor--2.

Tell us what ya think of Fear Factor!

Four Springs Ranch extends a very special Thank You to Josh Newton of Red Ridge Whitetails for his interest in pursuing a partnership on Fear Factor. We look forward to working with one of the premier breeders in the deer industry.

Congratulations Kyle and Josh. Fear Factor is very, very impressive. I really like the looks of him.

Kyle and Josh, congrats on a super nice buck!

After reading the post and seeing the pedigree I started thinking how I could make him work in my program. I have a couple of Updraft twin sisters born this spring that would be ready to breed next fall. How does this idea look?

Roger,

I really like that combination a lot! Lets take a look what those fawns will have: Thunder(3x), Buster(3x), Bucky(2x), Mandy(2x), Big Guy, Pat 111, Pat 112, JB twin Sister, Redoy Bill, SilverHawk, Rolex, Max and Highroller. Did I miss anything?? There is not a sire or doe in this combination that is not a producer.

Another good doe I think would work well would be your TONCHE. Thunder 3X Again, also Max crossed back in with Emily?? Lots of options....

Thanks for the compliments Josh and Roger, looking forward to see what you will offer at the TOP 30 this year.

Kyle

Well Kyle,

I know the pedigree doesn't show all of Updraft's extensive background, but don't forget that Pebbles is in there 5 times, and oh yes, O-105 (Hardcore's grandmother) is in there to yet.

Yes Kyle, Tonche would have been a great option had she not died last Friday afternoon:(

Talk about a phone call I wasn't happy to get.

Great lookin' buck guys, gotta love the width and mass on that boy. Rolex-Patrick a match made in heaven.

Guys, since you had to knock him down back in July I assume the growing kicked right back in right? He should easily hit 300" and he has a super look. I will be getting some semen for sure.

That is a very nice buck guys!Just wondering was he dehydated? It loks like you have a bag on the fence.Again that buck is awesome

Thanks guys for the positive feedback!

The bag on the fence is part of our Protocol. We try to run 500-1000 ml of fluids through every buck that is knocked down whether they are dehydrated or not, especially in the middle of summer. I believe they turn around quicker than without fluids, and its cheap ($6)

Josh gave us that idea and It works.

Josh, that is an awesome buck man congrats. He is one of the best looking Rolex sons I have seen. I love it when a buck can be huge and pretty at the same time.

I would like to thank Kyle and his family for giving Red Ridge the oppurtunity to work with them on such a great deer. I can't wait to see what the production on this guy is like.

Thanks for all the comments guys!

Shannon, You know what you can do with that Sundrop!!!

Hey Kyle -

I like your website. The pedigree section is a great idea with the lines linking all of the different does. Beautiful looking farm you have as well. Not to mention your hammer 2 year old Fear Factor! Congrats again to you and Josh.

Thanks,

I really like the pedigree section as well.

Steve threw that together in the last week due to the upcoming shows, there will be some changes in the next week. We are going to be more descriptive in the pedigree section with more pics in late summer.

My gf took a majority of the pics on the website, she is not bad for a amateur!
