OMG Holly, Those.....that....it is one big base. Must be a fighter.

Hey, I see your taking pics....hint..hint..:D

Hey Holly, I'll take that " BIG UGLY". Reminds my of one of the best deer qoutes that I've ever heard. " Don't look at the rack, look at the sack." I know who that guy is and he has the genes to produce....

This guy seems to fit this post well, he suffered a broken leg in march, his leg healed great, as for the rack...we'll just have to wait for next year.

Two bucks from the ranch I work for. These two were the worst but had 2 others that could have made the cut...

Jay Don, great job on saving that buck! Yeah, he's a little ugly but, I remember those photos. I think most folks would have just have........ well I think we know. Anyway, congrats on saving him.

I was wondering if anybody was gonna catch that is was "Ol Cutleg". My daughter calls him "Mr. Crabs" now. It is completely healed up now. No side affects, except for alittle crazy antler growth. It doesn't matter though, he is a story himself.

Jay, You did a great job saving that buck like James said. He may be a little ugly but he's not that bad at all.

What do you guys make of this? His antlers seem to go backwards. The first picture is last year's antlers @2 when he had a good looking frame. Could it be that we moved him and had him with 16 does, or is this antler damage?

I have a Yearling buck,A doe Kicked him in the head when he started growing....

We tagged a fawn, You can see the Tagger,Bam... She kicked him in the head.

I thought she busted it up higher,I straightened it and let it go because it was not filling with blood. The next day it got a little puffy like it was filling with blood, I didn't mess with it even though It was pointing down further, Because I thought It would have to come off. The next day it seemed like the swelling went down. I touched it, it hardened where it was ...

I hope it will Not be like that forever though.... When I quickly touched, It felt like in the antler not the pedicle... But Time will tell, He of course is a good buck.

I am Figuring I screwed Up... I should have put him down...We will see next year!!

Here is are pictures from the day it happened,Two days later and then him growing.

Best of luck with yours!!
