Just got off the phone with the big man Harry Strawser himself. WOW! What a day for Mountain Ridge Whitetails. They collected semen today and got the official tape on three of their sire.

RIGID scores 396"@3 with a broken drop tine that would have put him well over the 400" mark, 29" main beams, and 26 3/8" inside spread!

MAX DB scored 238"@2 with 15 2/8" G-2's.

BIG RIG Scored an impressive 268"@1 with several inches of missing drop tines. What a yearling!

What an incredible group of sires standing at Mountain Ridge Whitetails! WOW! Congratulations HARRY & PAULA and the entire Mountain Ridge Family.

You all are doing it right up there. I wish you the best this fall and with bucks like those I know it will be a hard decision whether to AI or live breed.

Thanks all for all the kind words.....we are very excited about our deer.

I have quite abit of confidence in all these guys to be great producers as I believe Rigid is already showing what he can do.

We had a fellow farmer here today who held Rigids and Big Rigs antlers together....he pointed something out that I had not took notice of...How similar Big Rigs and Rigids antler were. So I guess you can say Breed with Confidence!

Lots and Lots of great deer popping out this year.......... ..Congrats to all.

Thanks Eric for posting the info. I was not aware he was going to post it because I had hunters in all weekend then pulled semen Monday and then back to hunters ......I called him to thanks him and he said he posts for anyone who calls him with that type of news.....here I felt special!

I was down at Harry's for collections. Holy Cow!

Rigid is a PIG, period! He is one of the best looking large framed non-typical sires out there.

I think Max DB despite some antler damage early on is left beam is a seriously bred buck with a great typical frame. I love long tines and a 15+ inch G2 is no joke.

Big Rig is awesome. Rigid's antler traits are seen all over him and what a pedigree. The anchor doe has two sons 300+ and 350+. Double PA Geronimo, Bucky, Rolex...Just stacked.

Nice Job Harry. I look forward to breeding with Big Rig.

They are 3 fantastic deer! Congrats

You seem to keep producing year after year.

Rigid is absolutely an awesome looking deer! Excited to throw DownRange's mother in with him to see if she can do it again. Rigid on a Maxbo Ranger / Peacock's twin sister doe. If that's not a stacked pedigree with proven animals in it, I don't know what is.

Congrats, Harry!
