Although this current hunting season hasn't been very good to me, it has helped renew my concept of "why I do what I do". We work hard all year scouting, hanging stands and keeping up with the deer activity. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.
My 13 yr old son shot his biggest bow buck ever this year on November 2. As you can tell by the smile on his face, he is quite excited. My 69 year old father shot his first ever buck with a bow. Even though it wasn't a big one, it is still a trophy to him.
Three generations of our family out in the woods together, "this is what hunting is about" !!
