In 2009 United Special Sportsman Alliance broke its own “World’s Largest Bear Hunt Record”. Thirty-nine disabled and critically-ill youth from all over the country came to WI to harvested 27 bear. Taxidermists around the country donated mountings.
After composing a letter which included USSA Kid’s testimonies from the 2009 hunt, women in my church handwrote all the envelopes (almost 1,700) and 8th graders stuff the envelopes. Than approximately 50 disabled young adults put the stamps on the envelopes. I took them all a USSA wristband for their hard work and dedication (see attached picture).
We already have 24 bear licenses donated to USSA from caring sportsmen. Bear hunters have until August to donate their bear tag and it will be interesting to see if we beat our 2009 world record.
As many politicians, bureaucrats, and politically correct stooges continue to blur the lines between right and wrong, there is little doubt these hunts make a positive impact on those who attend them. I will keep you all updated.
God bless you all!
