King James average yearling was in the 150"s this year with one son going
222"@1 and another one going 174"@1 and very typical. I know of two other yearlings on another guys farm that were in the 140"s and they were very clean as well. There is another king james yearling that was purchased in our area that went 153"@1. I believe it would be safe to say after looking at his first yearling crop that he is now a proven sire.
I was checking out your website . . . Halo looks pretty nice with those matcing drops! It was good to see an updated picture of King James, too. He looks great at 290+! I'm interested to see if he passes down those brow tines . . . Merry CHRISTmas!
Yeah Halo is a very good looking buck and we are excited to see what kind of offspring we get out of him. So far it looks good with King James passing down his brows. I know King James semen has done good in our does genetics, but we cant wait to see what he does in everyone elses. If anyone used him this year or plans on using him in the future let us know how it works out for you, we are excited to hear about it.
I have 2 yearling bucks from him this year that went in the low 140's. Very nice offspring coming out of him. I attached a pic of my two yearlings in velvet. Sorry not a better pic.
