Is that from a Barry McGrew Awesome doe? Looks like a 6X6 plus mainframe with great growth for early in the year. Waylon sure seems to pass-down strong typical traits. Very nice 3 yr. old Sam.

Yes Joe, that is from an Awesome doe from Barry. The picture doesn't show it but he has the bump on his right for the g6 so I know he will be at least a 7X7 or better. He was a 6X7 with a split g2 (or what some people might call a 7X7) on the 6 side last year.

He was a very late grower as a yearling and 2 year old so we are hoping he keeps growing! We talk to him everyday. We tell him that if he keeps growing he might find more ladies in his pen come fall! :D

Everybody's deer look great. Keep the pics coming!

Joe, sorry I havent read the posts for for awhile, the Redline button buck that John Ward and I own together is looking really nnice-I think there are about 25 yearlings on Johns place and he is one of, if not the best of them. We will post pics soon.

Back to the pedigree questions earlier. I would like to say thanks to Sam James,Darren Deckard, and Russ Walk. Those guys give you a pedigree on a buck at a very fair price for semen. It's people like them that make it possible for small breeders like myself to buy great genetics.

Richie, I think I need to get with you to transfer a straw. I am getting ready to post a pic of Redbull @ 2. I took the pic today -- He is just starting to show what he is made of. Darren

7752:Redbull 6-25-11.Redbull @ 2 -yesterday I couldnt see his g-4s . He is really pouring it on.

Thats right richie.Thats why they get return buyers. These guys that grow a great deer and then put a price tag on it thats out of this world will make a sale to a few farmers but guys like sam, russ and a few others will make sales to many over and over!!

This is one of our wider bucks. A Waylon son fron a T-Bone/Blitzen doe.

Not as big as WayAwesome, but maybe he'll catch up. LOL

All the bucks being posted are nice deer. But to me, Sam has one of the prettiest bucks with WayAwesome.

I agreee with that also. I bought several bred does from Sam at a very reasonable price and had two huge Rolex/10 yearlings this year and some nice yearling does. Sam, Darren, Russ, and Micheal ( Texas Tea } all have great deer and straws at at reasonable prices.

Thanks for all the compliments. I REALLY appreciate it! Everybody's deer look great! There are so many good people in this business! :)

Here is a comparison of Jack McGraw from 1, 2, and 3. This deer forum has caused me to take pictures for the last 3-4 years and try to keep track of them! :p

First Jack McGraw as a Yearling

Jack is a good example of why we crossed Timberjack with MartyGraw. To try and get big frame production with lots of extras. We have not used him yet as a breeder but plan on doing so this year. He has about 40 points so far and we are estimating he will finish in the mid 300's. He has earned some ladies....Ahhh but which ones?

updated pic a WWF Topflite 3 yr old son out of a none DNA Doe Line

The Second pic is a Bill Monroe 2yr old Son out of the same no name Doe Line

Awesome pictures James......I am starting to get some timber jack offspring on the farm here and can,t wait to see how they turn out......got two yearling buck fawns and a buck and a dpe fawn this year from him.......I like how you put the pictures on there to show his progress over the years ........way to cool.......I think we should start a thread just for that......it is cool to see their progress from year to year.

Here are some better pictures of Jack McGraw. I took about 100, but none seem to suit me! :p
