A lot of people have been asking what we think X-Factor will score this year. As you can see in the pictures, found in Antlers Bar and Lounge under the thread Antlers 2011, he is off to a great start. Russ wants to give a free straw of X-Factor semen to the person that comes the closest to guessing his SCI score for 2011. It doesn't matter if you are over or under. It is the closest score. Email your guess of his 2011 SCI score to [email protected] When he is measured in the fall, we will give the winner one free straw of X-Factor semen. One guess per person per email address. In the event of a tie, the person who submitted the winning score first, will be the winner. We will try to show you new photos weekly. Good luck !!!!!!!

There are updated photos at the top of page 4 !!!!!!!!!!

Wayne,

Was he Officially scored last year SCI? If so who scored him? Thanks

Stepheck,

He was officially scored last year at 509 6/8 on Oct 4 2010. I have a copy of the signed score sheet. I will work on getting it posted where you can see it. He had beams of 28 6/8 and 29 0/8. Inside spread was 28 0/8. He was only allowed 50 5/8 inches of mass. The scoring was done by Frank Keeton. Thanks

My wife says if I win the straw of X Factor she won't have a problem with me starting my farm. So if nobody guesses but me :)

These are the updated photos of X-Factor taken on Sunday 6/19/2011. He still has a lot of growing to due. He was 509 6/8 last year!!!! Good luck on estimating his score.

He is really putting it on now and just think Jared what he would score if you could use his B & C score for mass on his SCI score. He was only allowed 48 inches of mass under SCI while he has over a 100 inches B&C. Thanks

where do you measure the lengths of the tines down to. from the pics it doesnt seem like he has much in tine length then, or do you go part way across the palmation.

i know you here this all the time but pictures dont do him justice. If he stays healthy he will go over 600 sci. Words cant desribe him.

HE IS HUGE

Thanks Nate I will let Russ know, you being able to see him first hand puts him in a different perspective than looking at the photos.

Jared: Last year his G-2's were 14 " I think with out looking at the score sheet. They are 3 or 4 inches longer this year. What they do is establish the top of his main beam and then measure up thru the palmation to the tip of the point. Good Luck on your guess of his score

O ok so the top of the main beam could have 10" of palmation before even getting to each point. That seem like a very tricky judgment call for a scorer to figure out where the main beam would be. How would you get the mass measurements then? I am not doubting him or picking on anyone I just havent ever scored something like that and dont know how it goes. Thanks for the info.

Here is a link to the SCI score sheet, SCI scoring isn't much different then B&C other then they don't deduct difference in length of both sides, basically gross B&C is the same as SCI score. Wayne, Why does he only get 48 inches of mass when his mass totals 100 inches, 100 inches would be my estimate by looking at him last year? Also the tine length measurement comes off of the TOP of the main beam, not where somebody thinks it is, the dotted line on the score sheet shows exactly how you get the starting point of the each point. I hope this sheet helps everyone understand and after he gets scored it would be nice to have the score sheet posted on here so everyone can understand how they came up with the score. I would like to see the score sheet from last year posted here as well. He is one of the most incredible bucks out there without a doubt, I'm looking forward to seeing how my X-Factor double Rold Gold buck fawn this year turns out! I'm with Nate and I think he will go over 600 this year.
