Michael,what about your yearlings?

Buzz - I hope things go well for Eric and the guys with Heartbreak... stressful to say the least! Please wish everyone well from us.

Richie-

I've been on the road a ton lately. Just snapped a few of Tea tonight. I should be able to get some of the yearlings in the morning before it gets too hot. I only have 7 yearlings and they are all 5x4's right now or better. No 200"ers, but that's not really my goal either. Tea was only 160" as a yearling.

My best yearling snapped his main beam back to the g2 the other day. He's ok for now and his health is all I'm worried about at this point. He was wider than Tea was as a yearling and out of Hannah as well.

Anyway... here's something that will hopefully hold you off till I get the yearlings up.

Just a heads up for everyone. We are selling 15 straws TOTAL in the north this year. We haven't been advertising much at all, but there are only 13 left. Price is still $3k/straw (same as last year), but it WILL be going up before he's finished growing. He still has a long way to go and I want to see where he finishes before I set the final price.

Thanks everyone for looking.

He is the perfect deer! In my eyes. Tea has it all. When you get your yearlings together let me know about semen. I'd like Hannah or Barkley blood.

Richie -

Our best yearling in my opinion is the one out of Yardstick and Hannah. He's also the one that broke his beam off. There is a picture of him below... he was bumping for his 6x when he broke his beam on the opposite side.

I'll email you some more pictures of the yearlings when I get some pics.

I also have a Say it Ain't so Shadow yearling out of my Wildman double green28 (Hoss' Sire) girl that's looking pretty decent. There's a picture of him below as well.

Thanks for your interest!

Mike

Here is a few updated pics of XWL Tombstone. This heat has slowed all of my deer down some, but I think he still has a little more to go.
