Here is a yearling X-Factor son at Edgemoor Whitetails. His mother is Grover's twin.

Edgemoor,

That is a great looking yearling!! I have yet to see a yearling out of xfactor that is small. Yours looks to have alot of tine length and mass in the future. I cant wait to see his jump next year.

Wow Edgemoor, that is a nice X-Factor yearling. Congrats!

I am very excited about our X-Factor fawns arriving in 2012!!

Edgemoor GREAT yearling. Is he a 6x6 on his frame? He looks like he is on track to make a great deer. Congrats, do you have some other pics of him?

Thanks, Aaron, Wayne and TMXULA. He was a triplet and started off a little slow, but has put it on pretty good this summer. We plan to draw from him and breed him a little, hopefully not too much to slow him down for next year. He is a solid 6x6 now with around 10 extras. A little narrow, but there is always something we'd like to see different. Too hot for pictures right now, maybe this weekend I can get some in the morning. Over all we are very satisfied with him at this point and you can bet I will be making a guess on X-Factor and keeping my fingers crossed.

Wayne, I do have this picture of Swagger with his head down. It's hard to believe those antlers started out about as big around as my thumbs.

If you stop bumping the contrast up so high on the pics they will look nicer. I understand dark antlers look good, but the contrast this high makes the face and body look strange. Just saying...

Thanks Roger, I will pass it on. We have had a friend volunteer to come out and take the pics each week but the time of the day is always different and if he is running late or out of time it hurts the quality. And the sun and shadows really play a big role in the picture. Russ spends many hours each day with the deer. He has a high end camera he bought for the friend to use. He really needs to take it with him when he goes to the deer pen and snap shots. He will get alot of bad ones, but as I told him one out of every umpteenth may come out great. just put it on auto and click away. Then the friend can try his hand on the day he comes. Got nothing to lose by trying. And thanks again, we really do appreciate the comments.

Dearjohn, I love your answer LOL

We cut X-Factors horns off last week. They were getting to much to carry and for his health it was time for them to go. If you don't have your score guess in you need to. They will soon be scored. Thanks

I think he will score around 555". What an awesome buck..... Would love to know what his antlers weighed.
