Aaron: Not the best photos but here is a look at what's going on with Rocky & Level King. Rocky still has alot of growing to do. We estimate he will have over 100 inches of drop tines & 80 plus inches of mass when he is done. If he is allowed his 4th mass measurement it will go higher, maybe hit 100 inches. This deer is a paradox, he may not have the score to match the amount of horn he has on his head. I think he just shows bigger than he will score. With that being said, he has passed the 400 inch mark, the question is will he get to the 500 inch mark???
Level King, Almost hit the 300 inch mark as a two year old. He has put a lot more on this year. His G-2's are pushing 18 inches & his drops are really putting on the inches too, with plenty of growing left in them. I think this year he will push the 400 inch mark but time will tell.
Eslabon Ranch: That is a nice two year old, he is going to be a good one. I have hunted in the Carrizo Springs area many times. Do you know of my friend Roy Hindes who lives north of you?
Henry: Nice deer and it looks like you are doing a great job with the photos. Wish you were closer. Your pics are sure better than mine.
Rick: Like Buzz said great name with a sweet look on the Natural !!!!
Buzz: Still looking for a blood trailing Blue dog for Jim, may have a lead on one.
What's great about deer farming is every year, each deer is like a new born baby & you get to watch them start with the knobs on their head in the spring and finish into an awesome full grown buck in the fall. Wondering for months what they will look like when they are done & hoping they stay healthy. Good Luck & Good Health to All !!!
