Bossman is no fluke, he has been bred to look just like he does... His sire side is stacked with bucks over 27 inside spread and his dam side with average over 28 !!

He is the buck i have been wanting to breed with for a long time!! Glad to have him coming to live in missouri:)

Thanks Sam. Sterling is great. I don't know what to say about Bossman except he is what I think of when I think dream buck!! Congrats

Here is an update on New Image taken on Aug 4th. He is finishing even stronger then expected. Pictures don't do this guy justice. He has a really big body. He is estimated to have 32-34"+ beams,27-28"+ inside, several 15 and 16" tines on each side, Typical Main frame 270"-290". It is really hard to add him up for a total estimated score. We estimate him at 500"+ right now with a little room to grow on each point.

Kurt, thank you for posting the pictures of Bossman. I am so glad to have Bossman in my AI breeding program this year. Thanks for selling me the semen and the does. XWL Tombstone can't wait to get them girls down here to introduce him self to them. I guess I shouldn't have told him about them, he seems liked he growed a few more inches after he found out they were coming.

He is Awesome!!!!!!

So glad to hear that. I hope he continues to do well. He is one heck of a deer. I am proud to say I have daughter out of him.

PS. she has BM bill on the bottom side also. I think she may be a keeper.

X-Factor is up and back on his feet. The horns weighed 28 1/2 pounds. I know that will be a relief on his system.

Wayne,

That is an incredible amount of antler X-factor had on. When you start thinking about how much a deer weighs, it is all the more amazing. That is 10-15% of that deers body weight! WOW. I hope he does well.

How many does out there have produced 3 sons over 30" inside and 3 more over 26" inside... that's just amazing. Not to mention what the rest of the blood line is doing.

Congrats on him Kurt. I told Cole I really have to get down there and see him soon. I've just been traveling an awful lot lately. If it's ok with you I'd like to take the camera down and get a few shots of him before he finishes out.

Thanks Chris & Johnny B, It was alot of horns to carry. X-factor is up and feeding this morning, seems to be doing fine. Next in line is Rocky, they are weighing heavy on him too. Would really like to wait on him because he definitey has room to grow, but we will monitor him through out the days to come. Here is a pic of Rocky.

PS: Oh yes,Chris, she will be a keeper, No telling what she may produce for you.

This is a mount of Bullets Sheds from last year @ 3.

I recently mounted for Steve and Faye Thayer.

Bullet is a Vegus/Pa Geronimo on top of Max Doe, the bottom side is Maxian and Walks Mag. Bullet measurments are

22" inside spread and 16" G-2s.

Any questions about Bullet - ask Steve Thayer @ Deepwoods Whitetails,

any questions about Taxidermy mounts - ask IowaMike.
