Sorry but I don't have any pictures of Updraft grown out this year. I heard he is a monster with even more mass and bone than in the past. I am surprised considering he was moved like what, maybe a month and a half before antlers were to start growing. I figured he would barely even grow much of a rack this year. I guess the genetics are what the genetics are.

I have had to deal with some very hard times in the past few months, and I kid no one, the day Updraft, his mother, and 3 Poncho daughters out of Updraft's mother was put on the trailer to leave their birthplace and home to go to PA to their new home was one of the tough days indeed. For me it was more than just my buddy, or my deer, or my big buck leaving. It was part of the very crowning accomplishment of my time in the deer business leaving. When I set out to create the pedigree to produce Updraft, Downdraft, and their sister Izzy I had the best of everything about deer genetics in mind. It has been a pleasure seeing just how great it all turned out. The best days are still coming as pics of sons are now coming in that will be a tribute to the passdown ability built into those 3 deer.

Congrats to Will for owning a real crown jewel in both Updraft and his mother IR Dolly!

I am happy to say that Downdraft and his semen is still in part owned by myself along with Steve Smith from OK. Opposite ends of the country will be touched by the breeding abilities of these 2 fine sires.

Here is Cyclops, a Double Down / Sunny Jr. 3 year old buck. He broke a drop on Saturday of last week and we put him down Tuesday to cut it off. Haven't had time to post the pics till now. I scored him at 324" and took 1/4" off every mass measurement so that I would be close to the hard antler score. We'll see if that is close when I cut him or sell him for a shooter.

Also, is anybody buying any shooters this year? In Missouri, the preserves are either full up or don't return calls....

Great deer virgil..Luv to see there are still some deer out that still have the look that they were made to have...To each their own and thats one of the great things in the deer world that they are made in so many ways but in my (The hunter) eye's that is the just the look that my walls and my pens are looking for!!!

Here is one of our yearlings we call Boeing, he is a Maxbo Hardcore son out of a Maxbo Ranger doe, pedigree includes Hardcore, Ranger, maxbo x 3, Maverick, and Bucky, we estimate him to be 165 to 170 with a 6x6 frame and a split G2 and G3 on his left side, semen will be collected in October
