It only took me 3 days to figure out how to post with a picture so here is another buck. This is LarX5 at 2 yrs. He is a Larex son which makes him Larry, Lil Larry, and Rolex on the top side and Larry, Lil Larry, Thunder on the bottom. He was an 8X8 at 1 yr. and scored 162.

Was out in the pens today and snapped a couple pictures. First pictures is spare change. He is a little behind cause he shed early april but he is looking better than last year so far. Second is the the oldman (bossman) I about lost him this spring. I had to knock him down four times in march to work on him. We are very very happy with the way he is looking considering. The last is just one of the yearlings, nothing crazy just one of the ones that came up to eat treats.

Kurt, is Last Call still around. If so, how is he doing? Got Last Call babies coming within a week.

Kurt is the first pic and the buck in the top corner the same deer?if so can you post the other pic?Michael how does Tea look and brothers?

Hi Richie -

We had a trespasser on our new farm and Tea smacked his left beam off the fence. We put him down and cleaned him up. He is nearly healed all the way. Tough to say how he's gonna grow on that side, but his good side was looking great and very similar to past years growth... just BIGGER.

We have been getting pictures of Tea yearlings from several farms. It's early so I won't be posting pictures for a while, but a lot of farmers have been telling me that their Texas Tea bucks are the biggest yearlings on the farm so far.

Again, it's early, but we are very excited to see his first group of yearlings across the country.

I have heard the same..I had to leave early at our Ada auction and a good friend of mine started talking and missed your donation lot that i wanted!! I was very disappointed but I really wanted to get it..I told him to get it no matter what..I should have stayed..He is my fav buck and if i can get a little money up I will try to get a straw..

Thanks mike!! I am looking forward to breeding my bossman stuff back to tea.. should be a very very interesting cross!!

Gaylen, we lost last call right before breeding season but his yearlings sons are looking impressive.. The yearling that i posted is one of his sons. The biggest got into the fence last week and i had to take both antlers off but he had the best start of any yearling that i have grew. I am definately going to be AIing to Last Call this fall.. He threw me 85 percent buck fawns as well..

Richie, The picture in the top right corner is spare change @ 2 the big photo was him today @ 3 . He is sundowner/young blood .. At two he had 28 inch beams and a beautiful frame! I bred his mother and his womb sister to bossman. His mother gave me twin bucks last week .. I also have twin does out of wildman/spare change womb sister bred to bossman

I think i remember you telling me about him.Can you post a big picture of him last year?

Thanks wayne, He is my pick on the farm...I didn't even pay attention to him last year til late august, but the sundance line grows late. He is off to a way faster start this year. He has sundowners frame and beams and his mother goes back to barkleys elijah (wildmans father)
