Holly had a buck fawn last week and I thought I would show him off. We cant wait to see what he does over the next few years.

Here are a few photos of Hydro Broad Axe taken today 6/9/12 and a comparison photo of HBA on 6/6/2011. My how he has grown... Hydro Broad Axe is the twin brother of Hydro Explosion of Mississippi River Bottom Ult Genetics (for those of you who didn't know.)

Already posing with the "tilt"!

Here are a few of our bucks.

Juneau is 5 and looking similar to last year, but a little ahead of where he was this time last year.

Landfall is 4 and a GB Magic son. I've been told that Magic sons typically explode at some point. This could be his year!!

Cassanova is our largest real clean typical yearling. He's a Loverboy son

Borealis is also a clean looking typical who we have great hopes for. He's a Solstice II son.

There is a ton of big yearlings this year. They all look good . I thought about posting some of my buck pics on here, but think I would fit in better in the biggest doe catagory. Everybodys deer look great!!!!

Don't even think like that Chris.. Show us TOMBSTONE!!! I know he is a slow grower..come on

.

You probly want believe it but I had to put him down this past Friday night. I went out that morning and at lunch he was fine, went back before dark and his bottom jaw was swelled up big time. I just new he had blue tonge or lumpy jaw, darted him and called the vet. I bought some of them high dollar shots for EHD and Blue Tonge, so I had her bring them to me while I was getting him down. Turns out he had a abseste tooth that made his jaw swell up. We pumped him up with antibiotics, steroids, and fluids. He is just starting to eat again. He was in the pen with 13 yearling bucks and he had to get the abseste tooth. Go figure??? He is holding his own right now, and if he makes it through it he will be a eye catcher this fall.

Yes he is. And thanks for the comments. I will get some pictures posted soon. He is unbelievable this year. The good thing is I got little Tombstones running around everywhere now, because I had so much faith in him to breed my best doe and back up my my AI doe. He will be awesome I assure you. If he produces or not will be left up to my farm. Because I got his first babies other than two new farmers in La. that believed in me and Tombstone also. We will see!! Thanks again for your comments.
