Just Curious?

I didn't want to start a new thread just to ask this question of everyone so I posted it under this "Just Curious" thread, because that is what I am, curious.

I am not looking for number of inches, and I know this is not an exact science but rather a guess/opinion. But look at these 2 pics from last year and give me your opinion as to what percentage of growth took place from July 20th 2008 until Sept 6th 2008. Again this is just curiosity on my part to see what some of you think he grew (percentage wise) after the 20th of July last year.

Some bucks grow early and finish early, some grow late and finish late. I am intrigued by the various degrees of progress I have seen on bucks around the country at different times of the year. I wish we knew what really causes this to occur because I have seen big differences between bucks that are even on the same farm.

Thanks for your input.

25%, which was all tine length during that gap. Maybe alittle more beam.

Here is another angle Reed. This shows the beams you spoke about. Thanks for your in put. I know it is just guessing, but I am just looking for an idea. Thanks.

Saw picture of Rancher the other day. You will not be disappointed.

Rod and Kent have to get one posted. He is holding out on us.

Alex

Thanks to the 3 of you that played along. I was just curious what people would say is all.

I would like to see pics like this from other bucks that people have had last year or older. Post 2 pics that have similar angles and show what the dates were when you took them.

I too would like to see Rancher when they feel ready to post pics of him. Rancher was one of the bucks from a list I made on the forum talking about bucks I was looking forward to seeing this year after they grew out.

i also saw a picture of rancher i will talk to rod about getting one on here

i can tell you he is looking like a good 7x7 much wider very open frame

you will be happy when you see him at least i was after i had fawns out of him
