Does anyone have info or a pic of a Maxbo son called Tink 69. Thanks, Allen

We had a doe out of Tink 69....Tink 69 came from Punch Bowl Whitetails. I believe Tink 69 died at 2 years old when I was doing some research years back. I also think he broke his leg and didn't grow very good that year and then died. I don't quite remember the story. The Tink 69 doe that we had was bred to one of their breeder bucks PBW Dutch. The attached pictures are the outcome of the Tink 69 doe and PBW Dutch. This buck was 31"+ wide at 4 years old. We know this because our load out system is 30" wide and I am positioned at the point of entry and he tried several time to enter straight on...no go. He finally figured out that he had to turn his head to get thru the tunnels. He was always a wide buck since a yearling and made an impressive jump at 3 years so we were curious of what he would do at 4 years. We weren't disappointed but was it the Tink 69 doe or the buck she was bred to that produced the width? Don't know as the doe never really produced anything else....so she went down the road. She does have a semi wide 2 year old...coming 3 this year but can't keep them all!

She also was a very small bodied doe and seemed to pass that on. We like big bodied animals so another reason we got rid of her.

Susan, awesome story. I often visualize a buck like that one racing through my dreams while I am out hunting, what a stud.

Thanks Matt....it is kinda cool to have a story now that you say so! Alot of visitors pretty much had a heart attack when they say him lol :)

Susan, your post has me grinning a little:D After seeing the photo and reading your post, I'm thinking a big Dutch daughter out of a Tink 69 doe may be worth having to watch a couple sons grow out. You wouldn't happen to have a picture of Dutch ya could post:) Thanks, Allen

OK...here's a good example of "You just never know what you will get". Evidently crossing these 2 bloodlines was a winner because attached is the moms sire and my bucks sire and really, the outcome is the only thing that matters to me. I probably should insert that we ended up with these deer because of a buy out. My guesses are, now that I relook pictures, is that my buck's width came from Tink 69. They even look similar in the face structure. Now, on the bottom of the doe that we had was Squirt, which is the grandmother to Jesse James. And Jesse James' mother is Jessie. Jessie and Dutch look to be womb mates...or at least full brother and sister. Anyway...looks like Jessie (and Squirt) might be some great producers by the framey bucks they have on their website. So back to "You just never know what you will get". I know I'm not complaining because we got some dang good money for that buck...and I will tell you that he wasn't sold by his score alone. Maybe Tink 69 was one of those bucks that was in the few % that actually throw width. We bred our buck only one year and he will have a few yearlings this summer and I only have 5 bottlefed doe fawns out of him. So I'm kind of excited to see if he passes down.
