We are knee deep in fawns right now-- bottle feeding several. We had a couple of firsts this year -- The first fawns ever born out of Gladiator XL and the first fawns ever out of a Frequent Flyer daughter (sire was Dangers Redemnption!) she had a single big buck fawn. There has to be a great name for that one!!

Today we had a big buck fawn born out of Reggie and Dolly. The we in this case would be Dream Ranch and Independence Ranch.

I would say we have another hit on our hands!

Congrats! Can't wait to see the results. :D

Sounds like everybody has great genetics these days. If we were shopping for breeding stock it would be hard to choose since there are so many good deer out there.

Seems like fawning is off to a slow start here, only 3 so far. We bred almost 200 does so it should break loose any time now.

Just had a buck and doe out of a Dream Ranger/Select/Highracker doe bred to Big Rig and twin bucks out of a Green 36/Little Boomer/Funny Face doe bred to Bucky. Looking forward to these babies growing up.

There really are a lot of good deer these days. The bar has been raised a ton the past few years!

I really enjoy seeing the various breeding combinations. Tis the season for spots as the antlers are getting started.

Keep posting those fawn pedigrees everyone. :)

We had 2 HUGE gorgeous fawns out of Moneymaker 2 nights ago, about 11 days early. Buck and doe. The smallest fawn at the bottom is out of Dennis's Extra Gold. She was 2 1/2 weeks early and weighed about 2 pounds at birth. she is the smaller in the playpen with the new moneymaker with her, and now weighs about 6 lbs.

Wild River Sounds Great!! I am quite fond of your buck Rex, love his look, and the best looking buck on my farm is a direct Rex son.

We finished up with our AI does with a single Waylon doe fawn from a Highway 10 doe

We got 7 out of 7 with Dr. Gourley. (Thanks Dr.)
