darren said:Thanks for all the compliments on Redline, but he is not a product of my efforts alone. There are hundreds of combined years of effort in this yearling and he was bound to pop up somewhere. The Griffith Bros. , Curt Waldvogel,Dean Borntrager,Mark Pierce,Nathan Blosser,The Walks,Glen Lambright and many others have put a lot of hard work into thier programs and all of thier efforts are represented here. That is the beauty of this thing, through AI we are able to leapfrog light years geneticly.I like to think of the canine industry.Man only had coyotes and wolfs to start with and in a few centuries of selective breeding there are now breeds from the miniatures to mastiffs.NEVER DOUBT THE POWER OF SELECTIVE BREEDING--IT WORKS!!! I will post new pictures of Redline in about 3 weeks,it blows my mind how much antler he is puttind on every day.People have started coming by to see him-I hope you will stop by if your in the area. When i take a pic and look at it 3 days later he doesnt look like the same deer.he has a great frame and is showing 7x7 with lots of kickers. His beams are as big around at the ends now as they have been at any other point.
