Velvet Off

Took a late evening ride checking feeders and was surprised to see this shooter buck with his velvet pretty much rubbed off. This is the earliest we have ever had a buck rub (August 10th)!

Have any other farms experienced this, this early?

Make you think it's gonna be an EARLY Fall ? I noticed he had shed his summer coat as well?

Most of mine have their winters coat. One is starting to knock off velvet on tips

Had a buck in the preserve that had alreday shed his velvet.
