I put a phone call into the state vet first thing this morning, he was busy and in the mean time we spoke with Jason Wachter. Jason said it was not closed then I got a call back from DR Stout about 4:30 and he said as of right now we are closed.

Either you have import requirements or you don't. If KY requires 5 year CWD monitoring to import then that is it. Sounds like someone is pressuring him to do something. Frankly, shouldn't matter if a state had a CWD a positive or not, should just matter that the farm is monitored.

He is starting off good and looks very pretty. We named him King Size. He will be 2 this May. I will try to post or send you pictures as he grows.

Zane,

He bred about a dozen last fall. Including his half sister by Arty. She is Toot My Horns womb sis. Also in his pen was Sheriff's mom, and 10 others. He has excellent spring body condition for a brood buck. I expect him to grow a good rack.

This is a pic of Rural Kings best side. His other side was damaged. He shed one side of his yearling antler through the fence while sparring with a wild buck. It had a big piece of the pedestal attached to it. King Size shed naturally and is starting to grow out very symmetrical @ 2.
