here's a nice 3 year old 5x5 with a extra point on one g-1, both g-2 and one g-3 and forks at the end of his beams, and should have a 24"to 26" inside spread.

Here is an update on one of our 2 year old triplets, I'll post an update on the other two in the August update post as they are not pure typical. They have a few extas, not many, but not pure typical in our opinion. This one should score somewhere between 170-175 when he hits hard horn,

Apache@4 6x6 South Texas

Apache looks great this year Eric. Still trying to decide what I'm breeding to his daughter this year. Any good crosses you see working with him?

Hey Steve- Thanks-I've primarily bred Apache in my South Texas pen and have sold all his offspring. I did keep 1 buck that is 2 this year that has his look. He does seem to be throwing big frame typical stuff. I also bred him to a couple Bucky grandaughters this year. We'll se what he does with a little northern mixed in. If he follows last years pattern he still has a couple weeks to grow. he scored 196@3 and has a bigger frame and longer tines already this year.

SETX Warrior 3yr very clean typical. Still has a lot of growing to do

Jimmy, Warrior is looking really good. Glad to see he recovered from last years injury. We are going to use him this year in our program. We appreciated the pics. Rick

Here is Magnus @3 on 08-12-09. He is out of GB Buckster/GBMagnum II. Any guesses on what he might score? He looks as if he has a little growing left out on the end of his main beams and has to sharpen his points up.

Thanks Rick I know he will produce for you and I will keep you updated on pics as he finishes growing

Tom, Magnus looks like he will score in the 230's and maybe 240 if he grows the rest of August. He sure has a good look to him with everything in the right places. Those Magnum II daughters sure pass a big frame with long beams. Having PA Geronimo and Bucky in there doesn't hurt either.

Joe,

That's about what I was guessing . He does seem to grow alot more on the back half of the season rather than earlier. In june he was way behind a lot of others but seemed to really pour it on in July and still appears to be putting on plenty each week. your right about MagnumII . He is an underrated sire if you ask me. He has been a big part in a lot of Rick and Dave's big bucks.
