Thought I just share my excitement over the first time life breeding at my place. This 2 yr. young breeder buck, a loaner from a dear friend, gets to prove himself with my does. He is a PA Geronimo son. This morning I saw him mount one of my two adult girls. I'm so glad I started to raise deer, I'm enjoying them all so very much!!! Last year I had the privilege of assisting with AI for the first time, before my girls got here in January and now I'm blessed with the presence of this boy, taking care of business.

Hope breeding goes well for all of you and you'll be rewarded for the hard work and nerves you've been putting into your animals!! God bless you all.

That is a good looking buck. I had a 1.5 year doe getting bred this evening. I was completely surprised. It isn't ever this early on our farm. I don't know if her cycling so early is a fluke. Our doe normally cycle around the 10-15th here. We are just pasture breeding this year too. I ordered all the synchronization stuff but I don't have time to handle my does this year. The preserve is taking all our time. Thankfully we have some good brood bucks of our own. I love the smooth long tines on the buck you are using to breed. He looks like a whitetail.

Same going on here. I finally got my own deer this summer after helping a buddy here in central Ohio for a little over a year and cant wait for fawns come spring. I haven't caught my 2 year old breeder mount anyone yet but I have watched him chase the girls around a little bit so I cant be too far out from actual breeding. He is actually just finally getting his velvet off completely. He was also late at getting it off last year though too.

Big 10 looks great hope he gets ya lots of bucks

Thanks Travis, got some good does though so the combinations with him should throw some pretty powerful bucks. Has Unleashed or Untamed started breeding does yet?

I wish unleashed was still around. We bred artificial with him though. Untamed is chasing a lot but he's young. Xtreme is paying attention to one doe pretty heavy

This year seemed a tad early to us as well....our breeder "Interrogator" (the one in the trees) bred his first doe on Oct 26, and has been very busy ever since!! And "Teebs" the buck tranquilized bred his first doe oct 28, since the girls arent into "practicing" id say its a hair early in our observation as well.

Thank You for the compliment!! We are super happy with our breeders....interrogator is a pure mark sipes breeding instigator over twister, and teebs is grizzly over maximus. we have our first crop of buck fawns from both of them this year. They each only gave us one doe fawn..lol.
